The new hatches allow a single positioning of the mill at the end of the grinding cycle, with the vent at the top and the discharge at the bottom:

Venting hatch: large*, to quickly load raw materials for the next cycle.
Discharge hatch: equipped with a rubber grill and manual valve, it allows only material to exit; the grill is accessible from both sides for easy cleaning.

Additional precautions minimise wear on the hatch plug.
